The Largs & District Horticultural Society hold their annual flower show in Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland in August. They also present some talks during the winter months.
175th Anniversary of the Society
We held our first show in 1841 so 2016 is the 175th anniversary of the Horticultural Society. We are looking for information, photos, schedules and memories of the Flower Show that we can display at the show and add to our history and archive web page, so if anyone has anything suitable, please do get in touch with the Secretary

2016 SHOW SCHEDULES
Advance schedules for the Decorative, Hobbies & Crafts, Junior Sections can be obtained either as a downloads from the schedules page or from the Secretary. The main schedule should be available by early June.
HISTORY OF THE SOCIETY
We now have a new History and archive section to the website. At present it has a few articles from the Largs and Millport Weekly New of 100 or more years ago. It also has an archive of past show schedules dating back to 1990.
If anyone has any old photographs, show schedules, newspaper cuttings or other memorabilia relating to the Horticultural Society, we would like to borrow it, for copying/scanning, so that it can be included in this section of our website. Please contact the Secretary
